Did the Egg Nog Jog with the family this morning. It is a great tradition we have had while we lived here. This is the first year that the kids had planned to run the whole thing. In the past they have run/walk and have done great. We helped them train a little bit over the past month to get ready for the race. Chase wanted me to run with him. He did great. We were shooting for 10 min/mile. Our mile splits were 9:56, 10:53 (uphill), and 10:03. He stopped at about 1.2 miles for a second to get a drink otherwise ran the whole time.

Went back and started running with the Grinders again. I am debating about whether to keep posting here or just using Strava. Mainly I like the shoe tracker here. Running Fast kicked my but It has been almost a whole year since i have tried to run fast at all. I didn't go to fast but quick for me now. We did 1 mile x2 1000 x2 and 800 x2. I got in with a guy who was supposed to go 7:25 for the miles and 1000s and 7:18 for the 800s. Splits were 7:19, 7:22, 7:19, 7:22, 7:13 and 7:13. consistency if nothing else.
